Our Own DIY Hero Needs Your Support This Week

Alexander Dickens is a friend of the Tool Library, one of our founders and one of the people in our community who has always understood what a tool library and DIY workshop could do for our community. Alex means a lot to us here.

And we mean a lot to Alex too. He is currently in a DIY Hero contest for the American Lung Association this week and in his profile he states:

My favourite project I’ve worked on so far has been my involvement in helping start the Saint John Tool Library & DIY Center! We give members access to tools to fix their homes and shop space to do woodworking projects! This is where I build furniture. Without it I wouldn’t have a space to create!

This week, Alex needs our help. This contest is well-deserved recognition for the talent and creativity of one of our own.

You can vote every day and the first cut of the contest ends on Thursday the 24th of March at 7PM PDT.
